Please Note:

This plating is the best plating that is on the market, however, It is still a plating and will come off when sanding with a low grit sand paper.
Myself and many of my customers have been successful in using them to create beautiful rings, but some care must be taken.
For the best results, I recommend to not have the inlay material (opal / gemstones etc) come over and above the shoulders of the ring. You will then fill the rest of the inlay with CA / Resin.
This means that when sanding you are only sanding away any resin / CA you may have got on the shoulders. I would recommend starting at a very high grit (800+) to do this job.
Last note – The shoulders are where the plating is thinest / weakest. Be certain not to touch these with sand paper of any grit.
As i said before, it is a plating and care must be taken, but i have multiple customers who buy these regularly and get great results. It is the closest colour we can get to a gold / rose-gold / bronze ring without having to fork out hundreds for real gold cores!
